See Space Differently CIC is a creative movement working across art, architecture, and community practice to transform how people understand and shape the places they live in.
We activate empty and underused spaces as shared environments for creativity, enterprise, and connection. Our work brings together artists, architects, young people, freelancers, and communities to co-create new possibilities for cities and neighbourhoods.
We don’t just design spaces. We enable people to take part in shaping them.

We are currently developing a pilot programme in Salisbury to activate a vacant city centre space as a shared creative workspace, micro business hub, and community connection point.
This work is only possible through a combination of grant funding, partnerships, and public support.
Your contribution helps us build and sustain the foundations that grants do not cover, including insurance, legal costs, staffing, administration, and the delivery of open community activity.

Why It Matters
Not everyone has access to the tools, networks, or opportunities needed to shape their environment.
We work to change that by creating open, accessible routes into creativity, enterprise, and placemaking. We support people who are often under-represented or under-resourced in traditional systems.
This includes:
- Young people exploring creative pathways
- Freelancers and micro businesses building independent practice
- People experiencing isolation or reduced community connection
- Individuals affected by limited access to higher education or professional networks
- Neurodiverse participants who benefit from alternative creative learning environments
Pop-Up Pilot
Our current pilot in Salisbury brings together three connected strands:
Micro Business and Creative Enterprise
Affordable shared workspace and informal support for freelancers, creatives, and early-stage businesses.
Youth Creativity and Pathways
Workshops, mentoring, and real-world creative projects linking young people to art, architecture, and design practice.
Community Connection and Later Life Engagement
Open access creative activity supporting wellbeing, reducing isolation, and building intergenerational connection.
